Forester´s house Trchovnica, Oravská Polhora

An easy walk from the centre of Oravská Polhora leads to the 16-metre-high Trchovnica observation tower. The route starts near the COOP Jednota grocery store and follows the red-marked hiking trail along a gently ascending asphalt road towards Slaná Voda. After less than one kilometre, it reaches the tower, which offers views of the surrounding landscape of northern Orava. Thanks to the asphalt surface, the tower is easily accessible on foot, by bicycle and with a pushchair, and it can also be reached by car. The walk can be extended towards Slaná Voda, the starting point of the educational trail to Babia hora.
