Tarns of the Roháče

The circular hike to the Roháče Lakes is one of the most attractive hiking routes in the Roháče Mountains. From the main car park below Spálená, the trail follows Roháčska Valley towards Ťatliakova Chalet and continues into the alpine landscape to the glacial Roháče Lakes, situated at approximately 1,562–1,719 metres above sea level. The route then descends through Spálená Valley, passes the Roháče Waterfall and Adamcuľa, and returns to the starting point. It is a moderately difficult mountain hike with considerable elevation gain and rocky sections.
