Anton Kocyan Educational Trail – Route B

Route B of the Anton Kocyan Educational Trail is an easy nature walk exploring the surroundings of Oravice. From the starting point in Oravice, the trail follows an asphalt forest road towards Bobrovecká Valley and then crosses the Peciská peat bog on a wooden boardwalk, where a wooden observation tower is located. The route then returns to Oravice. A second branch leads from Oravice along the road towards Zuberec, past Bystrá to the Mihulčie area and Kocyan's fir tree near the bridge over Bobrovecký Stream. Route B features nine educational stops and is well suited to a short nature walk around Oravice.
